Biography

I am an artist, curator and lecturer. I was born in Sydney but spent much of my childhood in Perth, Western Australia. I gained a BA (Visual Arts) in glass and photomedia from Canberra School of Art, Australia, and an MA in photographic studies from the University of Westminster, London, UK. While living in Newcastle (England), London and Perth, Western Australia, I have had work featured in prominent solo and group exhibitions throughout the UK, Europe, The USA and Australia and my work also features in private and public collections.

My curatorial experience began when I was offered the position of running the Vardy Gallery at the University of Sunderland, while I was artist in residence at the university. My freelance curating projects have included, the Radiant exhibition of glass sculpture, shown at the Vardy Gallery, and the International Glass Kunst Triennale, Nuerenberg, Germany, 1999, the (un)homely exhibition, shown in a private home in London in 2005, the Lost, Found and Imagined exhibition, shown in a private home in South East London in 2007 and the quiet moments: contemporary poetic photography exhibition, shown at Fremantle Arts Centre, 2015.

I currently live and work in Paris, France, with my husband and children.
